Some listings are per person, some are per boat, and some leave the extras out until checkout. This guide explains what a private charter in Nassau costs when you book directly with us, what is included, and what you might pay on top, so you can compare fairly.
Private boat charter prices in Nassau (booking direct)
All our prices are for the whole boat, not per person. One price covers up to 10 guests (8 on the fishing charter and the 2- and 3-hour tours), with your own captain and crew.

You reserve with a 10% deposit, and the live price and availability are always shown on the booking calendar. Prices on third-party booking sites can differ, because those sites add their own commission.
What the price works out to per person
Because you pay for the boat, not the seat, the cost per person drops quickly as your group grows. With a full boat of 10 guests, the 4-hour island hopping trip works out to about $110 each, and the 8-hour full day to about $210 each. A shared party boat can look cheaper for a couple, but for a family or a group of friends a private charter is often close in price, and the whole boat is yours.
Bigger group? For more than 10 guests we run a second boat alongside, so everyone travels together.
What is included
On the island hopping charters, everything below is already in the price:
- A private boat with a local captain and crew
- Fuel
- Snorkel gear in all sizes, plus life jackets
- Bottled water and local soft drinks
- Unlimited Bahama Mamas (our rum punch)
- Light snacks
- A Bluetooth music system for your own playlist
The fishing charter includes rods, reels, bait and tackle, snorkel gear, water, soft drinks and light snacks. You can read more in what is included on every charter.
Extra costs to plan for
We would rather you know these up front than be surprised on the day:
- Swimming pigs: the stop with the swimming pigs at Athol Island is an optional add-on, $20 per person.
- Margaritaville pickup: if you board at the rear dock of Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, the dock charges $6 per person, paid to the dock staff. Pickup at Woodes Rogers Walk (by the cruise port) and Montagu is free.
- Lunch: lunch is not included, but an optional lunch stop is available.
- Gratuity: tips for the crew are not included. They are appreciated but never required.
- Fish cleaning: on the fishing charter, cleaning and filleting your catch is available at the dock for a small fee.
Which length should you book?
4 hours: the port-day favourite
Four hours covers the big highlights: a harbour cruise past Atlantis, snorkeling, swimming with sea turtles, a beach stop, and the pigs if you add them. 6 hours: the relaxed version
The same highlights with more time at every stop. You get longer swims, a slower beach break, and room to add lunch without rushing.
8 hours: the full day
This is the one for birthdays, honeymoons, bachelorette trips and family reunions. There is time for the long, quiet beaches of Rose Island, several snorkel stops, and a lazy lunch.
4-hour fishing charter

Cancellation and weather
Cancel at least 48 hours before your trip for a full refund. If your cruise ship is delayed or misses Nassau, you get a full refund. If the weather makes conditions unsafe, we reschedule or refund you in full.
