The Bahamian family behind Reel Adventure Tours — how we started, and why we still love every trip out.
Reel Adventure Tours is a Bahamian family operation, and we mean that literally — the captains you’ll meet on the dock grew up on this water.
Captain Curry, Captain Walter and Captain Ryan have run these routes for years. Between them there isn’t a reef, flat or sandbar within an hour of Nassau they don’t know by heart — including a few spots the bigger tour boats can’t reach.
Because every charter is private, the crew’s whole job is your group. Want to fish a little on the way back? Linger with the turtles? Skip the pigs entirely and just chase empty beaches? Say the word. There’s no script.
The best part of the job is the same as it’s always been: watching someone stand up on a sandbar in the middle of the ocean and just start laughing. Come see what we mean.
