Reel Adventure Tours (“we”, “us”, “our”) runs private boat charters in Nassau, Bahamas. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit reeladventuretours.com, book a tour or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Booking details. When you book, you give us information such as your name, email address, phone number, group size, tour date, pickup point and any notes you add (for example a cruise ship name or a special occasion).
- Messages. If you contact us by email, phone, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger or through a form on our website, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, contact details and the content of your message.
- Payment information. Online payments are processed by our booking provider, FareHarbor, and its payment partners. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Website usage. Like most websites, our site and hosting provider automatically record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit. We may also use cookies, described below.
How we use your information
- To confirm, manage and run your booking, including pickup arrangements and changes for weather or ship schedules.
- To reply to your questions and requests.
- To send you important information about your tour, such as confirmations, reminders and safety updates.
- To process deposits, payments and refunds.
- To keep our website secure and working properly, and to understand how it is used so we can improve it.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We will only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to provide our services:
- FareHarbor, which provides our online booking system and payment processing.
- Our captains and crew, who need your name, group size and pickup details to run your tour.
- Service providers such as our website host (Hostinger) and email and messaging providers, who handle data on our behalf.
- Authorities, where we are required to by law.
If you book through a third-party platform such as Tripadvisor, Viator, GetYourGuide, Boatbooker or Airbnb, that platform’s own privacy policy also applies to the information you give them.
Cookies and third-party content
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies that are needed for it to work (for example remembering your choices during a visit). Some pages include content from third parties, such as the FareHarbor booking window, embedded YouTube videos and links to social media, which may set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work properly without them.
How long we keep information
We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal and accounting requirements, and messages for as long as they are useful for answering your questions. We then delete or anonymise them.
Keeping your information safe
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) connections on our website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
Your choices and rights

Children
Children are welcome on our tours with a parent or guardian, who provides any booking information on their behalf. Our website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information directly from them.
